UW–Madison Department of Chemistry alumna featured in book on career paths

Kathy Gisser, who received her Ph.D. from the UW–Madison Department of Chemistry in 1992 with advisor Art Ellis, was recently featured in the book Find Your Path: Unconventional Lessons from 36 Leading Scientists and Engineers by Daniel Goodman. In the book, 36 scientists offer personal accounts of the challenges, struggles, successes, U-turns, and satisfactions encountered in their careers in industry, academia, and government. Gisser currently works as a Staff Scientist at the Sherwin-Williams Co. in Cleveland, Ohio.
