Retired from Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY

Douglas spent most of his working years with Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY. He retired in 1994 (officially 1/1/95) when Kodak sold its Sterling Winthrop Pharmaceutical Division (actually I was thrown out the window, but with a good parachute). He has now been retired for more than 25 years and has not been associated with chemistry since then except for a brief data extraction job.

“I’m getting old, my get-up-and-go has got up and gone, so I’m pretty much restricted to gardening and reading.”

His three children are now aged 57, 58 and 60 and will probably retire soon.
